Prerow is located in an area called "Darss", in
the north of the state
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
The Darss is one of three parts of a peninsula called
"Fishland-Darss-Zingst".
With its beautiful nature and an old forest most of
this peninsula is a part of the German National Park
"Vorpommersche
Boddenlandschaft".
The bay of Prerow is, well-known for fine and clean sand it is one
of the best and most beautiful
beaches of Europe.
